‘TOTALITY – CELESTIAL EXPERIENCE’.

 …

‘TOTALITY’, in the previous blog,

had to be ‘Re-Visited’.

I have been offline so I could work.

There are 10+ new hours in this piece.

That is; standing, jumping, leaning,

dancing and focused in on the vision.

I did some eating while painting

during one 5 and half hour bout

and held the hair dryer under my arm,

with it going, pointed at the painting

while grabbing and mixing paint to ATTACK!!

…..

The hairdryer eventually gave out

and actually, blew up,

LEAVING the kind of burn on my hand

that smarts for a half hour;

just enough to know

IT HAD HAD ENOUGH!

A lot of this painting

was ‘painted’ with that Hair Dryer,

by using it to blow and move paint,

in currents, etc.

I enjoyed that Air Dryer.

I’ll take better care of the next one

and give it a break, now and then.

I believe God Blessed it,

as must be the case.

He even ‘Signed’ the Part He Did,

if you ask me.

He TOOK OVER and Created the Eclipse

the way it is

and I didn’t touch it from there.

After rinsing off everything

that could be flooded off with hot water,

in the shower,

I had a nice ‘Eclipse’ and a

barron painting, otherwise.

I started back by making spirals

around the Eclipse of various colors

and for some reason

I used a Blow Dryer

and was hitting those spirals and

BOOM !

THE SUN BEGAN TO SHINE

FROM BEHIND THE ECLIPSE.

Done !

I DID NOT Touch that area.

God did that.

You’ll see; HE SIGNED IT !

This little red circle shows a ‘mimic’

( dark circle with white light surrounding it )

Eclipse’

that I DID NOT see

until I was placing the final stroke.

It would be a perfect ‘reflection’ in the water;

of the painted Eclipse, in the sky,

it’s just bigger and over to the right too far.

…

What is that doing there?

God is saying He Can Paint one UPSIDE DOWN

and me not even know it?

He Knows that I know

HE Created the Sunlight Effect

in the CELESTIAL EXPERIENCE of TOTALITY,

so,

SO BE IT.

He ‘signed’ it,

to Identify the Artist,

That’s All.

Then, there was the development

of the rest of the painting

and it’s a ‘keeper’.

Stunning, hopefully.

Thanks to The Lord God Almighty

THAT HUNG THE MOON !!!

‘TOTALITY –

CELETRIAL EXPERIENCE’,

by Alan Dale Gross,

watercolor, 3′ x 4′.

 Owned by Private Collection.

Large Painting.

I mentioned that ‘TOTALITY’

needed to be ‘Re-Visited’.

That is because some of the powder I use

was not mixed with enough gum arabic

to make it adhere.

I was the last to know.

I found out when packing it to ship.

I touched a portion of the nice ‘textures’ on it

and it ‘smashed’.

Just like ‘talcum powder’.

Ahhh,…we have a ‘Make-Over…!!

The painting is Finished, now.

I hope it is well received.

But, if it’s not,…

That’s O.K…. .. … …

This was a wonderful experience,

except having to repaint ‘Totality’, again!

This one is,

‘TOTALITY-CELESTIAL EXPERIENCE’.

God did truly bless this effort.

With the detail in the center

making the focal point complete,

I allow the outward edges of the painting

Gradually Less defined,

as

‘showing the Artist’s work’.

On the very lower left,

you can see pencil marks

for the initial painting.

That’s when the whole thing was WHITE !!

CAN’T LEAVE THAT THAT WAY !!!

This painting is called

‘TOTALITY – CELESTIAL EXPERIENCE’.

Thanks again, Alan.

“TOTALITY” Solar Event Commemoration of ECLIPSE DAY…

“TOTALITY”

turned out spectacular, also,

as a commemoration of the day’s event.

This picture shows a penny at the bottom,

to show 3’x4′ size.

All pics are of the same painting,

although those Details are often

‘paintings within a painting’.

Go with the red-orange ones

for the true color;

the ‘brownish’ ones

had less light for the close-ups.

The ‘Solar Flare” effect is still wet in this one !

& The Golden ‘Solar Event’ shown in this Detail

needs to show better in the picture of entire painting.

It’s for local pick up only, probably*,

because it is thick and stiff

and doesn’t want to roll.

Quite an Eclipse Day.

It got full of texture and color.

It is just a colorful ‘happening’

and not just purely the one-day history, etc.

Life goes right on.

*UGallery markets to Architects and Interior Designers, etc., that have costs for Art, etc. and the expected shipping worked into their budgets, as do other sites.
